    Animal Mechanicals

    Meet Rex, Unicorn, Komodo, Sasquatch and Mouse – the Animal Mechanicals – in this action/adventure series where strange but wonderful mythical mechanical animals make amazing transformations and go on cool quests in a fantastic world.

    Animal Mechanicals live and play in a snap-together-take-apart world and can transform themselves, too, as they face challenges that are always popping up.

    Every episode, the gang gets a new mission from Island Owl, each with its own challenges that must be overcome on the road to "Mission Accomplished." The Animal Mechanicals, as well as the young viewers watching, must decide who should face each challenge based on the group’s wide array of unique abilities.

    Bo On The Go!

    Bo is a positive, super-energetic and inquisitive young heroine who, along with her friend Dezzy the dragon, encourages kids at home to go on amazing adventures by actively joining her in a variety of movements that assist her on the quest.

    Using motion capture technology and computer graphics, Bo On The Go! encourages preschoolers to adopt an active lifestyle and to have an active mind, too. The show has been created by a dedicated group of artists, broadcasters and educators to instill a love of movement in children while linking their activity to a plot-driven story. Go Bo, and go Bo-Buddies!

    Breakout!

    This highly interactive series for youth explores global issues through the viewpoint of teens around the world who have left their everyday lives to make a discovery about their world and themselves. Filmed in different locations around the world, youth compare and contrast their lives and show others how to make tangible and meaningful changes. A suite of 12 web-based games complement the series and are available on cbc.ca/breakout. The show also encourages kids to upload their own stories of activism on CBC’s "The Outlet."

    Bruno and the Banana Bunch

    This animated program invites young children to explore and discover the world of numeracy through imaginative play. Join Bruno who loves nothing more than to learn about the world around him, and who has a contagious fascination with numbers, shapes, sizes and any and all things math-related. Along for all the fun is a colourful cast of animals – Bruno’s best friends – known as The Banana Bunch.

    Busytown Mysteries

    From the amazing world of American children’s author and illustrator, Richard Scarry, comes this exciting series where young viewers are encouraged to help solve life’s little mysteries as they ask questions, find clues and discover answers all from a unique kid point-of-view.

    Join Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm, Sally Cat, Hilda Hippo, Pig Will and Pig Won’t and many other colourful characters as they scour Busytown looking for the answer to each episode’s mystery, as well as for plenty of fun and adventure.

    In Busytown, curiosities are everywhere – including the fact that everyone drives their own unique vehicle, which means that getting there is half the fun!

    Doodlebops, the

    Tune in to the fantastical world of Deedee, Rooney and Moe Doodle – three young musical sensations with loads of enthusiasm, tons of talent, and oodles of Doodle energy.

    Combining music, dancing and storytelling, this live-action show is designed to help preschoolers increase their self-confidence and encourage physical activity, and reinforces values such as cooperation, teamwork, trying one’s best, and facing fears.

    The Doodlebops’

    band members Deedee, Rooney and Moe will get kids singing, dancing and learning with loads of upbeat music and funny stories.

    Dragon Booster

    Artha Penn is an ordinary teenager who one day is plunged into an incredible world of adventure when he is chosen to ride Beaucephalis, a legendary dragon. When teamed with Beau, Artha is transformed into a mythical hero known as the Dragon Booster, a hero charged with the task of saving the world from an impending war, and uniting humans and dragons.

    This classic good versus evil tale delivers high-octane adventure for kids, where humans and dragons co-exist and where 12-ton reptiles chew up the asphalt at sometimes over 200 miles an hour!

    Gofrette

    Join Gofrette, a delightfully eccentric cat, in the colourful world of Zanimo. Serendipity, enthusiasm, and completely unexpected twists and turns are the hallmarks of this joyful series targeted at four to eight year olds.

    The series is based on the books written and illustrated by Doris Brasset and Fabienne Michot.

    Lunar Jim

    Lunar Jim

    lives on (not surprisingly) on the moon in a place called Moona Luna. This stop-motion animation series will transport preschoolers to an exciting world of discovery, fun and adventure. Focusing on the fun of exploration and scientific inquiry, this show promotes the learning of life skills such as persistence, creativity and cooperation. Above all, though, Lunar Jim is about taking delight in discovery.

    Magi-Nation

    Follow the adventures of Tony Jones, an average boy from Earth who finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world of Magi-Nation. Joining Tony on his adventure are two young Magi heroes-in-training. Together, they go on a journey to defeat the evil Shadow Magi who are out to rule the world. Along with their trusty collection of Dream Creatures, this band of friends must solve riddles, battle evil and discover the secrets hidden in each region on the Moonlands, all the while finding something out about themselves, too.
