Holly Alexandruk, News Reporter
Born
and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Holly is a graduate of Confederation College’s
Broadcast Television Production program. “I always wanted to have a career
where every day was something new and exciting. In TV you never know what
tomorrow will bring.”
You
said it, Holly! While in school she was
offered the amazing opportunity to work at APTN in Winnipeg during the 2010
Winter Olympics. If that wasn’t sweet enough, she was part of the action when
Canada won the gold medal in men's hockey in a 3-2 overtime victory! Awesome!
After a
brief stint at Global Winnipeg, Holly found herself packing her bags and moving
back to Thunder Bay to work as a full time news reporter for TBT
News.
When Holly’s not reporting the latest news, she enjoys spending time at her
family’s camp where she swims and goes for boat rides. But when she’s not enjoying the water, you
can find her buried in a great novel or spending time with toy poodle
Scout. Like many of the other news folks, Holly is a hockey fan. For what team?
The Winnipeg Jets, of course.
You
can catch Holly each night on the TBT News.
