Thunder Bay Hockey Celebrity Golf Classic
Dougall Media is proud to present the 3rd Annual Freedom 55 Financial Thunder Bay Hockey Celebrity Golf Classic in support of the Thunder Bay Regional Heal Sciences Foundation on Thursday, July 24th. Proceeds from this year's tournament will be directed to the Northern Cancer Fund, helping to provide funding for patient care, prevention, and education. This event is one of the premiere golf events of the summer as pairs teams will pair up with local celebrity/professional hockey players. The tournament will take place at Whitewater Golf Course beginning with a Media BBQ at 11am. This is an 18 hole, best ball tournament with shotgun at 1pm. Dinner along with live and silent auctions will complete the evening. This year's new twist: the first draft pick of the day will be open for Auction! Before the general draft matching teams with a celebrity/pro hockey player, the first draft pick will go to the highest bidder, entitling the winning team to select the hockey celebrity of their choice.

CLE Summer Fair
Dougall Media is proud to sponsor this CLE Summer Fair 2008. This year's summer fair will be held August 6-10, open noon to Midnight. Don't miss the CLE Talent Show Finals August 10th, 6-8pm on the Dougall Media and Pepsi Stage. New this year: Imagination Gallery present, Wizard's Challenge. Dozens of interactive displays giving you a variety of magical challenges and experiences. Walk through a dizzying 20-foot rotating dragon's lair. Grip the dragon's tail to tell you your strength. check out the wizard's amazing energy machine and leave your body imprint on a wall of nails (www.wildscience.com for more info)! Cooking demonstrations will be held every evening 6-8pm in the dove building. And don't miss Michael Leach the hypnotist 9:30pm August 6,7,8. Other entertainment includes: Rebel Spirit (50s/60s and 70s) and Danny and the Juniors (50s and 60s), The Alley Cats (Doo Wop) and Circus Jonathon (comedy juggler). Westfort Street Fair
It's that time of year again! The Westfort 26th Annual Street Fair is happening on August 23rd. Located on Frederica St. 100 block east & west. Street is closed to traffic. Village merchants are on the street with bargains of all sorts. Artisans, crafters, food vendors and painters as well. Fun kids activities-Thunder Sprint Racing, Paint Ball Mountain, Fun Factor Inflatables and Mini Putt.

Thunder Bay Museum's 100th Anniversary Celebrations
Hear Yea, Hear Yea, Hear Yea. Let it be declared and announced that the Thunder Bay Museum is celebrating its Centennial Anniversary this year.Dougall Media is proud to be a Major Partner for the Thunder Bay Museum 100th Anniversary Celebrations! The Museum will be presenting in its second floor galleries a photographic exhibit entitled Then and Now, Thunder Bay in pictures where you'll be able to see Thunder Bay as it once was, and how it has transformed over the years! The Thunder Bay Museum is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at 425 Donald St. E. Admission is $3 dollars for dults and $1.50 for children.
